Paul Sahle - Initially, only riding boots are produced. Shortly thereafter, production is expanded to include orthopaedic shoes and made-to-measure products for wearers of artificial limbs.
- Within just a few years, breakthrough to become market leader in the production of riding boots.
- Mid-1980s Production of golf shoes commences.
- 1990 Acquisition of Derby Dress. Manufacture of top-quality equestrian wear commences in Bad Oeynhausen.
- 1993 Acquisition of Hoppe. The clothing range is extended to include an assortment of chaps for riders. The name Hoppiletten is copyright protected, Cavallo is Germany's leading manufacturer of this product.
- All golfing and equestrian sport articles are sold exclusively through relevant specialist retailers for sporting merchandise.
