General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our offer is directed exclusively at consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can be attributed predominantly neither to their commercial nor their independent professional activity. A business is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that acts in the course of its commercial or independent professional activity when concluding a legal transaction.
2. Contractual partner, conclusion of contract and correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with Cavallo GmbH & Co. KG.
By presenting the products in our online shop, we are making a binding offer to conclude a contract for these goods. You can initially place products in the shopping basket without obligation and correct your entries at any time before sending the order. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the products contained in the shopping basket by clicking the order button. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive a confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to refuse orders or to withdraw our offer, in particular in the following cases:
- The product is not available.
- The billing information or delivery address is incomplete or cannot be verified.
- The order is classified as suspicious or fraudulent by our security systems.
- The purchase contract is concluded with persons under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- The order originates from resellers or entrepreneurs.
- A due payment has not been received by us within 5 working days.
- The delivery address provided is not accessible.
- There are obvious errors in the product information or prices.
- Force majeure prevents the fulfilment of the contract.
If we refuse or cancel an order, you will receive a corresponding notification by email. Payments already made will be refunded.
3. Contract language and storage of the contract text
The contract can be concluded in German and English. The text of the contract is stored, but for security reasons it cannot be accessed online. You will receive the order data by email. The terms and conditions are only available in the most current version and only on the website.
4. User accounts
The use of certain features on our website requires the creation of a user account and the provision of personal data. This data is processed in accordance with our privacy and cookie policy. You agree to provide only truthful, current and complete information and to maintain the confidentiality of your account information, including passwords. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to block or delete accounts if these terms and conditions are violated.
5. Delivery terms
Delivery options
Delivery is made to the address provided during the order process. It is not possible to pick up the goods yourself.
Delivery restrictions
Please note that we do not deliver any orders placed via the sales tool to addresses outside Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Austria. You can order items outside the above-mentioned countries, but you must provide a delivery address in one of the above-mentioned countries. If you wish to have an item delivered to another country to which we do not currently offer orders via this website, please contact customer services.
Shipping costs
Standard delivery within Germany is free of charge for orders over €99 (incl. VAT).
There are no delivery costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany for orders over €149.
6. Payment
Prices
All prices are total prices including VAT. Prices on the website may be incorrect due to typographical errors or technical inaccuracies. In such a case, we will contact you.
Payment methods
By selecting one of these payment methods, you agree to the following terms and conditions. The following payment methods are available in our online store:
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a payment method provided by Apple Inc. that enables fast and secure payment via compatible Apple devices. When you select this payment option, the payment is processed using the payment method stored with Apple Pay (e.g. credit card or bank account). Apple Pay's terms of use apply and can be found at Apple Support.
PayPal
PayPal is an online payment service that enables simple and secure payment processing. If you choose this payment method, you will be redirected to the PayPal website to make the payment via your PayPal account or as a guest with a credit card or other payment method. The PayPal terms of use apply, available at PayPal Terms.
To pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (‘PayPal’), you must be registered with PayPal, identify yourself with your access data and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction is carried out by PayPal immediately after the order has been placed. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.
Klarna (invoice, instalments, instant bank transfer)
Klarna offers various payment methods, including purchase on account, instalments and instant bank transfer. By selecting Klarna as your payment method, you agree to Klarna's terms and conditions and data protection policy. Payment is processed directly by Klarna. Credit card
You provide your credit card details during the order process. Your card will be charged immediately after the order is placed.
SEPA direct debit
When you place the order, you give us a SEPA direct debit mandate. We will inform you of the date of the account debit at least one banking day in advance (so-called prenotification). A bank business day is any weekday except for Saturdays, national public holidays and 24 and 31 December of each year. The account will be debited before the goods are shipped. The account will be debited after advance notification. Returned direct debits may be subject to a fee of €3.50.
Vouchers
If a voucher is redeemed when the order is placed, only one voucher will be accepted per order. Multiple vouchers or different vouchers cannot be redeemed with one order. A cash payment of e-shop vouchers is also excluded.
Promotional discount codes
If a discount code is redeemed when the order is placed, only one discount code will be accepted per order. Multiple discount codes or different discount codes cannot be redeemed for one order. The discount code can be applied to any item, but discounted items are excluded.
Payment processing and due date
Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the purchase contract, unless a different payment period has been agreed (e.g. purchase on account via Klarna). Should a payment fail, we reserve the right to cancel the contract or to charge additional reminder fees.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 29 EUR. Orders below this amount cannot be processed.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds will be made for the purchase price paid via the original payment method. Discounts will also be taken into account in the refund. Cancellations are only possible in accordance with our cancellation and return policy. Further information can be found under Warranty and Guarantee.
Data protection in relation to the payment process
The payment process is handled by the respective providers. We do not have access to your complete payment information. Further information on the processing of your data can be found in our privacy policy.
7. Warranty and Guarantee
Right of Defects
The statutory right of defects applies.
Returns
Products must be returned unworn, unwashed and with all labels. For reasons of hygiene, underwear and socks can only be returned in their original, unopened packaging.
Right of cancellation
You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins with receipt of the goods. You can use our sample cancellation form to exercise your right of cancellation.
Refund
All payments will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation.
The refund will be made using the same means of payment as the original transaction.
You must return the goods within 30 days.
8. Cancellation policy
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us (Cavallo GmbH & Co. KG, Kampstraße 72, 32584 Löhne, Germany, info@cavallo.info, Phone: 05731530080) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Consequences of cancellation
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may refuse a refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. We will bear the costs of returning the goods. You will only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this is due to your handling them in a manner other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Special notes:
The right to cancel an order does not apply to:
- items made or personalised especially for you;
- sealed items whose seal has been damaged after delivery;
- underwear or socks whose hygiene strips have been removed or whose packaging is defective;
- as well as items that have been in contact with food.
9. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Sales Convention. Consumers may file lawsuits in their competent court. The place of jurisdiction for disputes is Münster (Westphalia), Germany, provided that there are no mandatory statutory provisions to the contrary.
10. Dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS), which you can find here. Important notice: The online dispute resolution (OS) platform will be permanently discontinued as of 20 July 2025. The submission of complaints on the OS platform will therefore be discontinued as early as 20 March 2025.
We are not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11. Final Clauses
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In addition, the void provision shall be replaced by one that most closely approximates the economic intent of the contracting parties.
